Our Client is one of the world’s largest Management Software companies, and has very attractive offices complete with gym, crèche and restaurant. They require a Programme Manager to manage a portfolio of projects for multiple customers implementing the Client’s technology, with line management responsibility for a number of project managers. You would be required to support and deputise for project managers when necessary, and your ‘patch’ would be South England. Candidates must have an impressive record of Project Management and several years’ Programme Management experience. We are looking for people who have worked for a large IT company and have had exposure to customers in a variety of business sectors. You must be able to demonstrate a good technical understanding of infrastructure and security – you were probably a support or software engineer in your early career history. You will have a track record of dealing with complex IT and staff resourcing issues involving multiple agencies, and of having direct responsibility for multi-million pound budgets. (ERP implementations are not suitable experience; Asset/ Architecture Management or security would be ideal.) You will need to have an impressive customer presence and experience of working with sales, and you MUST have a respected Project Management qualification such as Prince II. You will probably be currently earning in excess of £70k.
