Our client is a Surrey based insurer specialising in non-standard motor insurance risks. They are looking for a motor claims handler of at least 2 years experience who will be responsible for the management of straightforward claims form notification to settlement. The role will also involve liasion with other insurers and solicitors so good written and oral communications skills are needed. You will be involved with claim investigation and negotiation and will be expected to maintain accurate estimates of allocated claims/company libaility so should also be organised and analytical. You should feel comfortable working within a team and be able to asist colleagues when required. You will ideally be educated to A Level standard or equivalant and may already be studying towards CII qualifications. Previous lloyds syndicate experience would also be advantageous.
