We require a technical lead who will be responsible for :The delivery of the early testing of design and specification work delivered from the development team. Defining the technical test strategy and build the environment created to implement it. Working closely with the development team you will provide the technical link between the development and test teams. Essential Experience: 5 years + in Database design, development and testing roles. Experience of building Oracle databases, versions 9i or later. Experience of building ESRI Geo-databases. ESRI ARC SDE design, install, configure and maintenance experience. Familiarity with Oracle and associated backup, recovery solutions and database tuning and performance testing An understanding of the UNIX Operating System & scripting syntax. Proven experience of delivering well tested, high quality results to agreed timescales. Familiarity and appreciation of the Software Development Lifecycle. A good working knowledge of spatial information and data modelling A highly effective communicator who is able to explain complex technical issues, and an excellent trouble shooter.
