An EP Consultant is responsible for facilitation and delivery of technical design, implementation and support of SAP Enterprise Portal based solutions. Core activities include planning, design, implementation and operations of customer-specific portal projects as well as continuous improvement of the product through feedback from the field. The Consultant can also assist in the following areas: high-level design, system landscape planning, security/ user management concepts, feasibility studies integration of SAP NetWeaver solutions (mainly Business Intelligence, master data management, mobile engine), also Internet sales, ESS or MSS integration of non-SAP products content management and collaboration UI design, change management consulting with a 1st or 2nd level partner or a blue chip organisation in a project environment. End to end experience in a leadership role in a project environment. Unlikely to have less than 5 years experience in technical environments.Java Experience in the use of Java for J2EE Application Servers in a Web environment. J2EE Core understanding of at least one J2EE environment (BEA, Websphere, SAP, JRUN etc) Web Technologies XML, XSLT, WSDL, BEPL, UDDI, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, SAP R3 experience of at least one SAP Application in a project or program environment SAP Solution Manager Exposure and use of SAP Solution Manager. Enterprise Portal Exposure to SAP Enterprise Portal 5.05 or later.
