Business Description My Client's outsourcing expertise and knowledge runs across all vertical market sectors and business areas, with a particular focus on Government and Financial Services. These include: Helpdesks and call centres Print and fulfilment Desktop services Network maintenance and support Payroll processing Application management Summary of Project To provide technical applications support and management consultancy services associated with the Payroll Module within the Applications Support teams at the Client’s SAP Service Centre, South Wales Summary of Position Applicants will be required to: 1) Support the Payroll Module within the SAP Service Centre Applications Support Team 2) Provide solutions to customer issues through SAP functionality, business process consultancy or specification of bespoke enhancements. 3) To liaise with the customer staff, in order to understand requirements, and to ensure delivery of support solutions. 4) To seek to upgrade professional knowledge and skill, and to maintain awareness of technological developments. Essential Experience Knowledge of SAP R/3 Industry • Amenable and friendly • Fast relationship building 4-5 years business experience minimum in consultancy or logistics environment Experience of SAP R/3 implementations in at least one blue-chip company SAP Application/Business Consultancy (possibly internal consultant for Blue chip company) 2 Years’ SAP R/3 Payroll support, or at least 2 full Life Cycle Projects SAP Payroll core functional – Expert SAP Payroll configuration - Expert OSS Notes - Expert Desirable Experience Comprehensive understanding of business procedures. Experience of having communicated important business information at all levels in an organisation, from clerical staff to executive board members • Team leading and skills transfer Strong team player Empathy with client Team or Group Leadership • Can do - will do attitude Experience of working within a support environment Experience of SAP version 4.6c MySAP.com Certified Understanding/experience in other module(s) Experience of Payroll BPO services Education, qualifications and special training Formal SAP Academy Training, ideally with certification Other Information Must be prepared for occasional travel to client sites (90% office based minimum).
